Google Fonts– previously known as the Google Web Fonts project has done a deal with Monotype font service that allows anyone to access its fonts for desktop use all for free!
The fonts are delivered by Monotype’s SkyFonts software creating a directory of more than 600 web fonts for the world to use. This quick and easy to access resource is great for designers and web developers who are looking for professional and quality typography for their web pages and applications.
